Organic Swine
I have chosen raising
organic swine because it has a great potential and it is in demand. Swine
industry is the one of the most important agricultural commodities in the
Philippines. There are advantages in raising swine first swine have efficient
producers of human foods. Second swine have high dressing percentage for about
an average of 78% (seventy eight percent). Third the swine are prolific and
bring quick returns. Forth swine are capable of utilizing buy products and
waste like kitchen refuse, rice bran and non marketable crops. Fifth salvage
values of culled sows, boars, and stags are high. And lastly about 60% (sixty
percent) of total meat consumption of Filipinos. First, the cage where the
swine will be placed. The location is very important the location you will
choose should have a road for that cars or trucks. Cars or the trucks are
important for transporting the swine or their foods this will make you work
easier. If you are raising organic swine the housing or the cage is important.
The cage design that I have chosen is the cage without the smell. The cage that
has a pool inside. It can lessen the stress. And the feed that is organic we
can now by organic feeds. But if you want cheap feeds for your swine you can
use “gabi” just boil the gabi and slice
or chop it into small pieces. Then another organic food is the mixture of corn
and green banana (not ripe) the way to cook this mixture is to put the corn and
banana in a boiling water for 45 (forty five) minutes. The organic pork is
healthy and my target markets are the hotels or restaurant that serves and
promotes healthy foods. Organic meats are more expensive than the normal meat
and the taste of the organic meat is delicious when it is compared to a normal
meat and the smell too. When it comes to advertisement I have to promote the
healthy foods and the majority of the health conscious in the Philippines are
the wealthy people the wealthy people have contacts that can help you in your
products.
